This is Jeff withMontana I was just looking over the reviews that we have received and for those of you that received poor service, or bad food in the past. I've took it upon my self to read them and I have made a lot of changes in the kitchen staff , and also in the wait staff. again these comments are important no matter how good or bad they are . We will be putting out a new menu at the end of October. It is going to have a lot of new items. We are also making changes to the inside of our dining room, and restrooms. So for you customers that didn't have the best of experiences with us I encourage you to come back and give us another shot , For the ones that had a enjoyable experience we look forward to seeing you again. Again I apologize but we are making those changes to insure you a good dining experience. THANK YOU Jeff

Save your money. Go to costco and by some steaks and a six pack. Do all your own grilling. These guys are piss poor. Poor cuts of meat and they can't cook over priced bad atmosphere. I've had better steaks at sizzler. For half the price. Wait staff ignore you. Save your money! I just hope you're not reading this inside the restaurant if so stand up and run for the door!

I LOVE steak. My boyfriend and I were so disappointed when we ate here. The steak at Sizzler was better than what we had. The salad bar was lame. BUT the chili was really really good. I went there again for a function and ordered the bbq chicken. I don't know if it's just me but....when you say bbq chicken I am not expecting a piece of chicken that looked like it was boiled or steamed with bbq sauce poured on it. Again....disappointed. I would never plan an event here. The service was slow and it just seemed really unorganized. I don't think we will eat here again.

No. No no no. Just turn away. Do not go in here. Don't go to the bar. Don't go to the restaurant. The food is overpriced and the menu has a terrible terrible selection! The "salad bar" which should not even be called a salad bar has lettuce. That's it. & potato salad. and mac salad. So that is terrible. It is an extremely "old trashy" kind of atmosphere. The only good part was the scones. The bar was meh - I went on a Wednesday night which is apparently their popular night. They had some terrible OLD OLD OLD people singing karaoke. I ordered a toasted almond and the bartender had no idea what that was. Uh .... :\ I won't be going here again :)

This place has the potential to do much better. I got an 8 oz sirloin medium, with a twice baked potato and side salad. The sirloin was excellent. It was perfectly done. The twice baked potato was good, but they garnished it in stuff that is not so good. They offer good sized portions for a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking. It kind of feels like an old Mexican restaurant that was turned into something else. I think they could use a decorator to help with the concept. It is very clean. Here are my suggestions. 1. Get rid of the bacos. You need to make real bacon bits to garnish the potatoes. It's not hard - I make bacon crumbles at home all the time. People do not want to do out and have fake bacon on their food. That's gross. 2. No more processed cheese sauce. If you want to be a steak house you need to use the real stuff. You can make cheese sauce from scratch - like cheddar fondue sauce, but no more chemical cheese sauce. 3. Don't put the paper napkins in the glasses. It looks like a tacky wedding setting. 4. Make the menus look more professional. Have someone with a bit of design experience and good writing skills put it together. It looks like something a middle schooler would put together. 5. Don't serve an entire 10 oz of butter and 10 oz sour cream side dishes to a party of one. It's a waste of money. Either replace these larger side dishes with small ramekins or ask the customer if they care for this. You would save so much on cost if you stopped doing that. 6. Do not pout a red plastic water pitcher on the table. It looks tacky and it lacks service. The waitress never did pour water in glass. You can't have a full-service restaurant and expect self-service. If you really want to leave the pitcher on the the table get something more interesting to put the water in. Put it in an old milk bottle or a glass carafe. 7. Always offer dessert and display it on a dessert tray. It's an easy upsell and customers expect to be offered dessert. If you show them the dessert on a tray you're more likely to sell it! 8. Have the servers wear uniforms. White shirts and black pants or colored polo shirts and black pants. It will make them look more presentable, and hide any scary tattoos without telling the staff they need to hide them. 9. Don't serve frozen bread. Order fresh bread from Daily Harvest Bread Company on Blue Lakes every day. Work out something where you pick it up or have it delivered daily. There is no reason to have frozen bread when you have a bread bakery right down the street. They'd probably even give you a discount if you marketed the bread some how on the menu. You could make it seem special and unique that you serve fresh bread. 10. Once you make some changes advertise with the local paper, or online. You need to do something to re-kick this place off. Advertise the changes, so the public will give it a second shot. I'm going to come back here in a few months and see if anything has changed. I really hope they do make some changes. I think they have quite a bit of potential.

My husband and I both ordered the steak, which was tender and flavorful. The bread was perfect and the veggie tray was a nice touch. Did not like the chairs on wheels and would have preferred a booth, The staff was nice and the food came quickly. I would recommend this place and next time we are in Twin Falls we will stop again.

This place is hit and miss. I've had great meals here, but I've also had less-than-great meals here. Also, if you get seated close to the bar, be prepared to smell cigarette smoke all night, even with the double doors. I would recommend giving it a try.

Ate there when I fist moved to the area 9 years ago.......never been back. The atmosphere was very cold and sterile feeling. I had the ribs and they tasted like they had been baked for a few hours and then basted with sauce right before they were served to me. Plus the fact that the side dishes we ordered was an extra charge, turned us off.

At our hotel's suggestion, we decided to have dinner here after being on the road for 12 hours. We had checked out the menu online before heading out so we would know what to order immediately since we needed to make it a quick dinner and early night. I was really looking forward to the steak and my husband really wanted to try the ribs. We arrived around 8pm on a Sunday night and was surprised to find the parking lot full. However when we got to the front door, it was locked and we noticed a sign in the window that the restaurant was closed for a "private funtion". Too bad.....but hard to imagine you would close an entire restaurant for any private party.

I rate my dining experience 50% on food the other 50% on atmosphere. Cheap table cloths thrown over old tables. Mismatched furniture (the last time I was there). Chairs on WHEELS! Waist high, stone walls used as dividers between tables...The last time I was there we sat outside. We were seated at a table that had plastic chairs that I swear I saw at Walmart the week before selling for 5.99 each. Unreal. I mean, I couldn't get past the lazy, unkempt, thrown together atmosphere of the place to give a functional review of the food. And a good portion of my dining experience is, in fact, the atmosphere. Please read the review from "Monique B." as I couldn't have put my sentiments into words any better. Our service was standard and the food was...meh. The menu was, well, confusing. My burger was labeled "light" and apparently "light" meant cheap-as in not a lot of money, "cheap". OOOOhhh Kaaaaay. Weird. Isn't the term, "light" normally reserved for thoughts of low calories? Whatev. Apparently the steak is great. What this place needs is an owner who can turn that place around to make it THEE happening place. It can happen. The location is great. It's in a place of town that is growing. It's near the canyon. I don't take my family there when they are in town even though my family loves steaks.

I my opinion, Montana's and Tokyo Sushi are the ONLY restuerants in Twin that deserve 5 stars. Montana's has the BEST steaks! Whenever we have family in from out of town. we take them here, and we've never been disappointed. The steaks ar sooooo juicy and flavorful, and always cooked perfectly. You get a huge baked potato, salad, and soup! It is a little on the pricey side, but you really get your money's worth. If you want a cheaper meal, go for lunch, and have thier gigantic hamburger.
